Magento is a full featured eCommerce solution, made for large businesses, but can be used for small businesses using the “out-of-the-box” features:

Let’s do some basic changes to our theme:

Pick a theme at – note that you will have to make an account at Megento Connect – remember you username and password because this is where we get all of the modules to use for Magento:

Choose this theme; it is a great, fully responsive, free theme:

Click to Install – make sure you’re logged into your Magento back end, then follow the instructions in the above tutorial.

For errors:

Enable logging of errors: System-> Developer-> Log Settings

And then look at your log when you get errors:

public_html/magento/error_log
